Option D - 4 Days 3 Night Tour - Bogor Halimun National Park

Day 1:

Just take the morning train to Bogor, than we will pick you up from the station at 9 am.

First we will drive you to the Botanical garden in Bogor, you can visit the garden for 1.5 hours, After that we’ll take you to the country side to see the local people’s activities such as making traditional music instrument (Gamelan) and the wooden puppet (Wayang golek).

Than go for walk arround the village, rice fields ,vegetables, bananas, and ananas plantations. Our journey will continue to The Halimun salak national park, there we take you walk into the wood and to enjoy the beauty of The Ciparay waterfall, where you can swim in a small river with clear spring water from the mountains.

Before it gets dark we will bring you to The Bamboo house on the beautifull hill to spend the night. If the weather is good we will created a small party with a bonfire. ( for you who are interested in Indonesian cuisine we can provide free cooking lessons .

Day 2:

When you wake up in the morning, you will enjoy the beautifull sunrise that seems to come out from behind of the mountain, and when you’re having breakfast in front of the room , the beautifull nature and birds are singing as if they are wishing you a good morning.

After finish your breakfast, we will take you to The Jungle trekking or a long walk through the forest, pass small rivers, valleys of green trees and rocks that stretch out in front of your eyes, After 3 hours walk you will arrive at an active volcano of Ratu crater.

The crater area actually consists of three craters, the Queen crater (the largest), the Paeh (death crater) and the Hurip (life crater), it’s astounding land scape a vast hill side of white rocks, steaming sulphur, gasses, bubling water, steaming mud and the river of sulphur.

In terms of active craters in west java. After visiting the volcano we’ll take another route to get back so you can see and enjoy the views on the other side, it’s need 2 hours walk down. ( and this has never been done by other visitors). After you feel enough and happy with all that, in the afternoon we will returned to bamboo house to stay the next night.

Day 3:

After breakfast we driving to the East part of Halimun salak national park, a long the way you will be presented with stunning views from the otherside of mount Halimun and mount Salak, after 2 and half hours drive we will arrive at Malasari village, it’s a small village surrounded by the forest and tea plantations.

You will enjoy the beauty and serenity of the village and see the local people life in harmony there. * Over the night at the home stay of local people*

Day 4:

Weak up early morning to see the sunrise over the very beautifull land scape and the tea plantations, Continue walking arround the tea area and to see the activities of local people picking tea and so on.

Go to the Canopy or suspension bridge , if you are lucky you will see the animals life like monkeys, surily and gibbon.

In the midle day we will go out from the national park, than continue drive to Sukabumi through the palm oil plantations than to Cianjur , there we can stop at an old bridge over Citarum river was built by Dutch people long time ago .

After that we drive directly to Bandung, We will drop you to the hotel where you like to stay in Bandung, or to the train station.
